Espace Bambino Open Day!

On Thursday, we reopened Espace Bambino for one day only for all the volunteers to meet and play with the children. We had the honour to have an award winning painter, Nofou Kabore, to visit and teach the children how to paint – this was a great success and a lot of painting was gone, although not always on paper! At the end of the day Nofou and his friend treated us and the children to some live music; and some of the children showed us some dance moves!

There was a great turn out for the day; in terms of both volunteers and families and their children. All the volunteers got involved and got creative with the children and both sides looked to have enjoyed the day.

We finished the day with a visit to an Orthopaedic centre with Abdoul Razak and his family where he was measured for his walking aids – which will hopefully be ready in the next few weeks. This will have a huge impact on his life as it offers him the opportunity to walk for the first time, this would not have been possible without sponsorship; a big thank you to Abdoul Razak's sponsors!
